Role Description:

We’re hiring a self-motivated Project Manager with experience delegating staff members. This resource will be working within the IT Analyst team with minimal supervision from upper management and will be required to turn end-user requirements into technical documentation and ultimately IT solutions. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the formal Release Management process in various applications (API).
  • Support the process throughout various stages for the timely delivery of the client requests within budget, according to business requirements and to deliver a successful execution.
  • Define the release objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle (SDLC -Agile).
  • Initiate, develop, update, and manage release calendars for highly visible applications.
  • Manage release information such as release content, release schedules, Programming and Certification.
  • Manage release execution stages to ensure adherence to budget, timeline, and scope; monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and scope are met.
  • Secure acceptance and approval of deliveries from the Program Sponsor and Stakeholders.
  • Ensure that program issues and risks are acted upon, mitigated and/or resolved.
  • Provide status reports of the program’s overall progress to fellow PMs designing and developing updated technical plans if changes in approach are necessary.
  • Prepare status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Establish and execute communication plan.
  • Escalate IT-related issues to the Core team and to the proper audiences in a timely manner.
  • Execute resource planning cost estimating, and budgeting; planning, monitoring, and controlling changes.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of releases.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years Project Management in the coordination of implementation, conversion, and system updates.
  • 5+ years' experience in designing, developing and establishing the flow, process, and project mapping.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed to support client/user testing and coordination with other teams in deployment tasks.
  • Ensure technical remediation and implementation efforts are estimated and information flows flawlessly to the PM Team.
  • Team work skills to collaborate proactively in a team environment and able to multitask.
  • Experience in banking and making banking apps will put you ahead of the pack.
  • Secure acceptance and approval of deliveries from the Program Sponsor and Stakeholders.

Education:

  • BA/BS in an IT or related field.

Must/Plus:

  • PMP certification is required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a MUST!
  • Knowledge with Agile/SCRUM Methodology is a huge plus!
