A brief description:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead the coordination and completion of a key projects in support of a new business initiative. You will provide a reasonable level of subject matter expertise in project management. As the Senior Project Manager, you are is expected to complete the project on time and within scope and budget, provide project reporting and scheduling. You must have previous experience in the Health Industry. We're looking to you to run technical projects efficiently. Are you the Senior Project Manager we're looking for?

What we'll trust you to do:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of project management methodology and basic knowledge of program management and applies it to the day to day work.
  • Manage large projects with high complexity using corporate processes and artifacts.
  • Establish and execute a project communication plan, meeting facilitation; presentation and delivery. Ensure project sponsors and owners remain fully informed with accurate, transparent and timely information regarding project status, risks, action items and budget.
  • Adapt approach and style to meet client/project needs; understands there may be multiple avenues to achieving the desired outcome, maintains and encourages a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrate ability to view the work from the individual client/stakeholder perspective; ability to synthesize those disparate views into a consensus view for the project team.
  • Build consensus and manage client/stakeholder expectations; ability to navigate organization.
  • Appropriately communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience and summarize detailed information to an Executive level and communicate effectively to an Executive audience.
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manage exposure and risk on projects to the minimum possible level
  • Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Prepare status reports by creating logs to register issues associated with the project, facilitate and give follow-up to their resolutions and ensure cause and resolution documentation.
  • Give follow-up to project stakeholders on decisions, changes and progress.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of releases.

What you're made of:

Here's what you'll need to succeed as the IT Project Manager...

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of business experience specific in program/project management.
  • 3+ years of proven experience leading, managing and developing people.
  • Formally trained in process improvement (e.g., LEAN, Improvement Advisor, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, collaboration, relationship building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes.
  • Possesses a strong sense of organizational dynamics, collaborative management style, an adaptive thinker with high energy and enthusiasm, and a team player who promotes the concept of people working together versus individual performance.
  • Advanced skills in group facilitation, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to communicate with a diverse population in a consistently informative, confident, respectful, and professional manner.
